Loganholme FC recently applied to become one of the Football Queensland (FQ) RSJPL (Rebel Sport Junior Premier League) club entities to facilitate some of the FQ representative teams for the Football Brisbane Association.

A maximum of six positions were available from the FB zone to participate in the RSJPL against the regional teams (Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Northern NSW).

A number of key stakeholders from Loganholme FC worked very hard to produce a comprehensive submission on behalf of our club.  Unfortunately Loganholme FC were not one of the 3 Southside clubs selected (Rochedale Rovers, Queensland Lions and Redlands United are the selected club entities).

Whilst this is disappointing for Loganholme, this will not diminish the level of football, player and coach development available to or members as we will still offer division 1 (U11 & U12) and BJL (U13-16) in 2010.  Ultimately only a small number of positions are available for RSJPL representative teams in each of the age-groups (U12, 13, 14 & 15).

Players wishing to seek inclusion in the RSJPL representative program must compete in the selection trials currently being conducted by the various RSJPL clubs.  If chosen in a RSJPL team, players will then join one of the successful clubs with games being played on Sundays with some limited travel to Northern NSW, Gold Coast, Toowoomba & Sunshine Coast.

Any Loganholme player wishing to trail for selection in the RSJPL program will be fully supported by the club.  We encourage any player not selected for RSJPL teams to return to Loganholme in 2010 where they will continue to enjoy the highest possible level of competition in the FB zone with one of the best coaching structures in Brisbane.
